Cloister & Canticle Press is an independent Christian publishing imprint founded by bestselling author, Bible teacher, and biblical trauma-healing practitioner Robin Ludwig.
We publish biblically grounded nonfiction and story-rich fiction that lead readers toward truth, healing, courage, and restoration in Christ. Whether through direct biblical teaching or an imagined life unfolding within history, every book is created with the conviction that truth can be encountered in more than one form, and that a well-told story can sometimes carry it into places instruction alone cannot reach.
The Meaning Behind the Name
A cloister is a place set apart: a quiet passage surrounding sacred space, historically associated with prayer, study, contemplation, and the careful preservation of truth.
A canticle is a sacred song—often drawn directly from Scripture and given voice in worship.
Together, the words express the heart of this imprint: books formed through attentive study and the presence of God, then carried outward as testimony, teaching, and story.

About the Founder
Robin Ludwig is a bestselling Christian author, Bible teacher, certified trauma coach, certified biblical counselor, poet, podcast host, and retired United States Air Force First Sergeant.
Before devoting herself more fully to writing, teaching, and ministry, Robin taught literature and writing in both the Texas and the United Kingdom. Her military service, humanitarian and medical-relief experience, work with trauma survivors, and years of biblical study have shaped a body of work concerned with healing, identity, spiritual freedom, courageous faith, and the redemptive presence of God.
Robin is passionate about helping Christians understand who they are in Christ, recognize and dismantle spiritual strongholds, receive healing from trauma and prolonged suffering, and live faithfully within their God-given purpose.
Her nonfiction brings Scripture into conversation with trauma-informed teaching, prayer, spiritual discernment, reflection, and practical application. Her historical fiction approaches many of the same truths through human experience, allowing readers to encounter grief, courage, belonging, sacrifice, restoration, and faith within the lives of people who feel entirely real.
